The Role: We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a Production Planner to join our team based in Perth, WA . Acting as a critical intermediary between our production, processing and sales teams, you will ensure efficient communications are maintained as they relate to product movements into distribution pathways. You will maintain oversight of immediate product availability, further harvest potential, overall sales targets, and processing capacity. You will be accountable for ensuring real time information is available across key stakeholders in the shellfish supply chain, while maintaining strong financial discipline, compliance, and a high-performance culture. Key Responsibilities will include: Maintain predicative model for short, medium and long-term forecasting, utilising production data. Assist in coordinating production plans with key operational team and sales team to meet customer demand plan. Liaising with purchasing, farming, logistics, finance teams to ensure business can deliver to target outcomes. Assist in the development of sales budgets and re-forecasts based on product availability. Analyse data to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and reduce costs. Assisting with analysis on product costings / general business analysis on an ad hoc basis to support decision making. About you: Degree in business, logistics, science or engineering, with experience in manufacturing or supply chain management would be highly regarded. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping. Initiative and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyse data for production, demand forecasting, and inventory holdings Microsoft Office suite skills (Excel, Outlook, and Word) Strong verbal and written skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams. Class ‘C’ Driver’s licence. Progressive and positive attitude. Pass a National Police Clearance and pre-employment medical assessment. Ability to adapt and deal with change and take on new responsibilities and opportunities as they arise. Willingness to fill in across all operational requirements when required.
